3/29 Planning Meeting Details

The planning committee met again on 3/29

• We are hoping to have the day event at San Juan High School on the football field. We will know more this fall when they can tell us if it's available.
• We are comparing hotels right now for pricing and availability.
• A survey has been sent out to everyone who's email is on file. If you haven't already completed the survey the link is posted in the upper right corner of this page.
• We learned of another classmate lost - April Grainger died in 2006. I am working on gathering information for the memorial section.
• We will look to meet again possibly in May. Please contact us if you would like to attend the planning meeting.

3/22 Planning Meeting Details

The committee currently consists of myself, Heather Castiaux-Drechny, Tara Gibson-Johnson and Kimberlee Meyer.

• We set a date - August 7th, 2010
• Based on the poll so far it looks like most would be interested in a one day event and we agreed that would be the best option.
• We are looking into locations for a picnic/carnival that day from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• We are looking into locations for the evening event. Ideally we would like to find a hotel where you can stay as well as party :).
• We are looking for information on Jennifer Winning who died in 1998. Heather is working on that. If you have any information or a copy of her obituary we would love to hear from you so we can add her to our memorial section.
• A survey will be sent out to find out more of your preferences for this event.
• We will be setting up a Paypal account to handle ticket sales. If you would like to start making payments feel free to do so as we will need start up money for deposits.

Next meeting is set for 3/29 @ 2:00 p.m. I will send another e-vite. If you didn't receive the last one then that means I didn't receive your email address or pull it off of Facebook. Please forward that information to me so I can add you to my distribution group.

Classmates Slideshow - I am working on the kinks in the Classmates slideshow. It was loaded in alpha order but won't display that way. Stay tuned!

The first reunion planning meeting is set for Sunday, February 22nd at 2:00 - my house in Citrus Heights. So, those of you who are interested and obviously live in the area are welcome to come on over. If a different time works better for those wishing to attend please let me know. I will send an evite to your email address also as well as post it on the blog I set up. RSVP for my address and directions. See you then!

Calling all alumni of San Juan High School Class of 1990!! My hope is to use this page to spread the word about our 20 year reuion.

If you live in the Sacramento area (I'm still in Citrus Heights), contact me about joining the planning committee. I'm working on setting up our first meeting and several people have already expressed an interest in helping.

We will need everyone's feedback to make this the best reunion ever!

I've located several people via MySpace, Facebook, Classmates and Reunion.com.

I will be sending invititations to join our group page on Facebook as well as this page. There seems to be more features we can use with this site.
